A great spot for the highlight of your summer vacation to PEI. If you are comfortable with swimming and diving, Basin Head is for you! This park features "singing sands", snack bar, changing rooms, a fisheries museum, a beautiful beach, and the famous bridge for jumping. It is located at the east of the island in Basin Head, Souris. It has been named as the No. 1 beach in Prince Edward Island, and is a popular pick for many tourists and locals.

"Basin Head is a beautiful park with a gorgeous white supervised sandy beach."

About Me

I am Moriah Burden and I am in 2nd year Public Relations at MSVU. I wasn't sure what to expect of the PR program at first but I have realized I absolutely love it and am eager to start my first co-op internship this summer. I decided to create this website as a tourism website all about Prince Edward Island, because this is where I grew up:)
